Bluesky Magic Productions is the brain child of writer Tom "Paddy" Lee, and was formed in 2004 with the intent of producing and providing feature films that will truly inspire people in the realm of acheivement and accomplishment - to reach for and attain the unthinkable, and to break through barriers once thought inpenetrable. With that, a new world of storytelling was created in order to touch the human spirit in everyone and lift it to new heights.
The company's first film, “Mr. Blue Sky”, was produced in 2006 and filmed in Ventura Beach, California.
"Mr. Blue Sky" premiered at the Zanuch Theatre in Los Angeles and at HBO studios in New York before going to theatres and was widely viewed as a successful first film. "Mr. Blue Sky" achieved its mission of “changing minds and changing lives” for those individuals born with Down Syndrome, and has inspired many families to change the world through new found perception and hope.
Bluesky Magic Productions has embarked on its second film, “Message of Hope”, which just completed filming in August of 2014 in Cherry Hill, NJ. Message of Hope also seeks to change lives as it serves to bring hope, love and compassion to the world. The premier is slated to be held at Word of Life Ministries Church, 80 West Merrick Road, Freeport, NY. There, Pastor Gaspar Anastasi has welcomed all to come experience the film in the 1,300 seat theatre. Presently, the premier is planned for 2:15 PM May 2, 2015! Stay tuned here for more details.
